Take your layout to new levels of realism, with up to 100 real sounds (not electronic) available, and more being added all the time.
Scalable from the largest of layouts to smaller single track book shelf type layouts irrespective of gauge.
With up to 15 sound effects available to play on demand, they can be played either individually or together to to give a richer mix to the scene. For example sounds of sea birds combined with those of rain, traffic or people.
All sound tracks can be initiated by moving the toggle switch down momentarily, or with the toggle switch in the UP position by using magnetically activated switches in the track bed too, from a small magnet fitted under the locomotive or rolling stock.
Sound of coaches passing, of wagon couplings, together with Locomotive sounds. All this bringing the realistic sound of the trains together with trackside operations and the surrounding environment for both the analogue and DCC layout alike.
You pick the 15 sounds you want on your card, you can always have more that one card for different occasions. See the list below.
So if you run steam locomotives and Diesels you can have the option to swap the sound card to suit exactly what your running.
A 6.5mm stereo line out / headphone socket is fitted for connection to external amplifier and speakers. Or use the internal amplifier to power small speakers (2w) on the layout itself.
Powered from a 9-16 V dc supply the unit can be powered either from the layout via the 2.1mm DC plug or a separate PSU plugged directly into the rear power socket.

In the up position the sound will be activated by the magnetic switch on the track bed.
In the momentary down position the sound is activated as soon as the switch goes down, and the switch is released.
THE REAR
The back of the unit has all the sockets required.

On the left are 2 DC Power sockets with 2.5mm pins: Here you can plug in a seperate power supply for this unit, or use the auxillary power from your existing power system.
Next to that is a 6.35 (1/4'') Jack socket for the external speakers or amplifier. The Internal speaker is a 1 watt 60mm diameter speaker.
There are now 16 No 3.5mm Jack sockets for the track sensors.
Please note it is not restricted to magnetic sensors it could be any Normally Open contact which closes when activated.
