The CP200-1 is a Single Track Speed Controller with Forward / Reverse switch and Indication. The Controller comes in a sloped desktop enclosure. The front panel is capable of accepting a second speed controller, when your layout requires another. The termination board inside can accept 2 controllers without any internal changes.
The front panel is made of 3mm clear Perspex with the lettering reverse printed on the back, so the lettering will never wear out from rubbing or cleaning. It can also be removed from the enclosure and mounted in your purpose made control Panel.
The rectangular box under the Forward/Reverse switch can be used to note the track ID it is controlling. The controller does not come with a transformer & you will need to provide 12-16v AC or DC supply to the unit.
The Technical Data:
The Speed Control Circuit uses pulse width modulation providing proportional output control and torque maintenance. Output control is achieved by varying the output pulse to motors up to 3 amps max current consumption. The output then goes through a DPDT switch which can reverse the output polarity or switch the output OFF. The switch also switches LED’s to indicate Forward or Reverse.
Input Voltage: 6-15V DC
Output: Modulated relative to input
Loading: 3A continuous. 5A Peak
Size: 214 x 133 x 74 mm (enclosure)
211 x 126 x 55 mm (panel only)
The control Panel has the position available for a second speed controller. The second controller kit comes complete with the Speed Controller, the Forward/Reverse circuitry and the necessary wiring. The blanking plugs are removed, and the kit is fixed by 2 nuts. The 4 wires are connected to the terminal board inside and you are good to go with your second speed controller. You can also purchase a 2 controller from start. CP200-2.

The image above is the Internal Termination Board. Connection from power supply should be 9 to 16volt DC.
Speed Controller output is on TRACK 1 & TRACK 2 terminals.
Full instructions are in the User Instructions when you receive the Speed Controller.
The Rear of the Speed Controller has a number of grommeted holes, for incoming cables. The front plate is easily removed with just 4 screws.
All our control equipment is supplied in the same desktop slopped style enclosure. This means that all the front panels are the same size so can be positioned side by side, or removed from the enclosure and fitted into your own custom panel
